These Terms & Conditions govern all work carried out by Jasper van Doorn, operating under the name New Jasper (hereafter “New Jasper”), for the party commissioning the work (hereafter “the Client”). By accepting a quote, signing a proposal, or paying a deposit, the Client agrees to these terms.
Each project is defined by a written quote or proposal setting out deliverables, scope, timeline, and fees. Work is carried out in stages, typically: concept, modeling and lookdev, lighting, motion (where applicable), post-production, and final delivery.
In fast-track or collaborative projects where pre-production and production run in parallel, a preliminary deposit may be agreed before a full proposal is finalized. In these cases, the deposit is based on an estimated project value and will be reconciled against the final proposal once the scope is confirmed
Project timelines assume timely Client feedback at each stage. Delays in feedback or material delivery may shift the final delivery date and, for significant delays, may require rescheduling at New Jasper’s availability.
A revision round is a consolidated set of feedback delivered in writing after a presented stage. Unless stated otherwise in the quote, each project includes two rounds of revisions per stage. Additional rounds are quoted at the standard day rate.
Standard day rate: €600, used as the basis for estimates and additional work.
A 50% deposit is required before production begins and confirms the booking. The remaining 50% is invoiced on delivery and payable within 14 days.
Overdue invoices accrue interest at the statutory Swedish rate (referensränta + 8 percentage points) under the Swedish Interest Act (Räntelagen).
Unless stated otherwise, all fees are in EUR and exclusive of VAT. VAT is added where applicable under Swedish and EU rules.
New Jasper retains copyright of all final rendered images and motion work. On full payment, the Client is granted a license to use the delivered work as set out below.

Extended licenses are granted for a defined territory and period, quoted per case.
Any third-party assets used in production (purchased models, textures, HDRIs, licensed content) remain the property of their respective owners and are used under licenses held by New Jasper. No rights to these assets transfer to the Client.
The Client retains all rights to brand assets, packaging designs, logos, and other materials provided to New Jasper. The Client warrants that all provided materials are lawfully owned or licensed by the Client, and indemnifies New Jasper against any claims arising from their use.
Final deliverables consist of high-quality still or motion files (TIFF, PNG, MP4, MOV) in the formats and resolutions specified in the quote.
Digital twin files (OBJ with textures) may be made available on request, for an additional fee, depending on intended use.
Working files — including Blender scene files, color grade files, and post-production projects — are not part of delivery and remain the property of New Jasper.
Custom shaders, rigs, HDRIs, lighting setups, and similar technical elements developed or licensed by New Jasper remain the property of New Jasper and may be reused on future projects.
Final files are delivered via a private download link (Google Drive). Anyone with the link can download the files, so the Client should treat it as sensitive. Deliverables remain available at the download link for 6 months after delivery. New Jasper archives project and working files for 24 months after delivery; access to archived files beyond that period can be arranged on request.
Delivery is considered complete when final files are made available to the Client. The Client has 5 working days from delivery to either sign off or request revisions. If no response is received within this period, the project is considered delivered and approved. Final payment is due within 14 days of delivery, regardless of whether the Client has formally signed off.
If the Client cancels a project after work has begun:
No usage rights transfer for cancelled projects. Work-in-progress files, previews, and unfinished deliverables may not be used by the Client.
If New Jasper is unable to complete a project due to circumstances on its side, the Client will be refunded any portion of the deposit not covered by work already completed, and no usage rights transfer.
New Jasper retains the right to display delivered work in its portfolio, website, social media, case studies, and promotional materials from the date of the Client’s public launch, or six (6) months after final delivery, whichever comes first.
The Client may request a reasonable embargo period of up to 12 months before public launch at no additional cost.
Full confidentiality — where the work may not be shown publicly by New Jasper — is available as a paid upgrade starting at 50% of the project fee, agreed in writing before work begins.
Credit (e.g. “CGI by Jasper van Doorn”, “@newjasper”) is appreciated but not required.
New Jasper treats all Client materials, unreleased designs, and project details as confidential and does not share them with third parties outside of production requirements. Separate NDAs can be arranged before work begins.
Quotes, proposals, and work-in-progress materials shared by New Jasper with the Client are likewise confidential and may not be shared with third parties without written consent.
New Jasper’s total liability for any claim arising from a project is limited to the total fees paid by the Client for that project. New Jasper is not liable for indirect, consequential, or incidental damages, including loss of profits, loss of business, or reprint costs.
Color accuracy in physical print production depends on the printer, substrate, and production process and is the responsibility of the print producer. Color-managed files and reference information are available on request.
Neither party is liable for delays or failure to perform caused by events beyond reasonable control, including illness, power or internet outages, hardware failure, or natural disasters. Timelines are adjusted in good faith in such cases.
These Terms are governed by Swedish law. The parties agree to attempt to resolve any dispute through good-faith discussion before initiating legal proceedings. Disputes that cannot be resolved through discussion shall be resolved by the Swedish courts, with Jönköpings tingsrätt as the court of first instance.
By accepting a quote, signing a proposal, or paying a deposit, the Client confirms that they have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms & Conditions.
